Hero Computers can also fix issues that most other computer stores can’t, or simply don’t want to!!  This includes motherboard level repairs including chipset reflows, DC Jack repair, and motherboard capacitor repair.  Here is a list of our repairs, and their cost:

General Computer Repair  $85.00
This repair includes the blue Screen of Death (BSOD), corrupted operating systems, and in general any repair not otherwise mentioned below

Virus Removal $85.00
Removes all viruses, malware, and spyware from your computer.  We will also fix any operating system corruption that may have occurred do to the virus.

Computer Tuneup $85.00
Cleans up the registry, startup processes and services.  Also tweaks the operating system in order to get the most performance possible.  The goal of a tuneup is to get the computer running as fast as when the computer was new as possible.

Tuneup, Virus Remove, Computer repair as a “secondary service” $49.00
Performs the above tasks after a primary service has already been performed.  The most common example is a tuneup after a virus removal.  It could also include virus removal after a motherboard repair

DC Jack Repair $119.00
Remove and replace DC Jack on a laptop motherboard.  This price includes the part

Motherboard Reflow $119.00
Reflow and rework the chipset so that the computer boots up and runs cooler

Capacitor replacement $30.00/capacitor
Replaces any popped motherboard capacitor

Complete motherboard rework $150.00
Reflows the northbridge and southbridge chips,   regrease the cpu, replace all popped and buldging capacitors.  When we are done with this one, it will be like having a brand new motherboard!
